Humanity has had to face a fundamental question: how to preserve and transmit its culture, that is, its beliefs and knowledge, both in space and in time.

The origins of the history of the book go back to the first pictorial manifestations of our ancestors, the cave painting of Palaeolithic man. With a symbolism, possibly loaded with magical meanings, these paintings show animals, hunts and other daily scenes of the natural environment of the ancient man, who tried to dominate the adverse forces of nature by capturing their essence through their representation.
